What is Architects of Diversity?

UWC Short Course Malaysia: Architects of Diversity is a one-week, bilingual (English and Malay) residential programme for young Malaysians. Through interactive workshops, games, debates, and role-playing, participants will tackle the big question faced by societies that are defined by their difference: how do we best live together in difference and diversity?

The UWC movement and values provide a pertinent and effective platform to bridge these differences and cultivate a sense and ability for intercultural understanding and celebration of difference among Malaysians. Yet each year the number of Malaysian students who would benefit from a UWC experience far outweigh the number of scholarships available to attend a college. We believe the UWC Short Course provides a great opportunity to enable more young Malaysians to develop these sensibilities.
What to expect
This Short Course will be an intense experience; as with most experiences, what you put in is what you will gain. We hope that you will participate and engage fully in all discussions, activities and games. Expect to be challenged personally, think critically and more importantly, to have fun during our short but unforgettable time together.
